Today the Mississippi Department of Health<\/strong> (MSDH) is reporting just 70 new cases of COVID-19<\/strong> in Mississippi <\/strong>and no new deaths. This is a new low and the fewest new cases in one day since April of 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since February 2020 now stands at 297, 651, with 6,808 deaths.\u00a0278,162 Mississippians are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 55 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
