Upon\u00a0investigation, it was determined that <strong>John Fremont Wallace<\/strong> (21 of <strong>Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>) was identified as the suspect and\u00a0taken into custody without incident.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wallace was charged with two felony counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Tampering with Physical\u00a0Evidence. The victim\u2019s injuries were not life threatening.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>Lafayette County Justice Court<\/strong> judge issued Wallace a bond of $100,000. This is still an ongoing\u00a0 investigation.
