At the Museum, we seek to fill this gap by giving students the opportunity to explore music history and exercise their creativity. At the Museum, students and visitors learn about all genres of music. Some may even learn to play the drums or guitar for the first time, learn to create their own beats or discover the art of songwriting. From instrument lessons and school tours, interactive workshops and careers in music programs, and serving as a resource to teachers, the Museum’s music education efforts make an impact every day. Through these, students are inspired to explore their creativity and find their own way to express themselves.

Launched in 2012, Giving Tuesday was created as a simple idea: A day that encourages people to do good. Over the years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.

For more information on GRAMMY Museum Mississippi and its programs, visit grammymuseumms.org.

ABOUT GRAMMY MUSEUM MISSISSIPPI

Developed by the Cleveland Music Foundation—a nonprofit organization founded in 2011—the 28,000-square-foot GRAMMY Museum Mississippi is housed near the campus of Delta State University, home of the Delta Music Institute’s Entertainment Industry Studies program, which features the most unique audio recording facilities in the South.
