Today the Mississippi Department of Health<\/strong> (MSDH) is reporting 1,485 new cases of COVID-19<\/strong> in Mississippi <\/strong>and one deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 153,270, with 3,807 deaths.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently there are 1,008 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 238 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 199 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 12 new long-term care cases and three new long-term care deaths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
