CHARGE: ENTICMENT OF A CHILD TO MEET FOR SEXUAL PURPOSES<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

On Monday November 2, 2020, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Department<\/strong> began and undercover operation targeting child predators in the area. Over the past week, investigators have made three arrests, involving adults soliciting a child to meet for sexual purposes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 3, 2020, investigators arrested Cory Ballentine<\/strong>, 34, of Oxford, Mississippi, and Johnathan Woolbright,<\/strong> 28, of Banner<\/strong>, Mississippi. On November 6, 2020, Ethan Moses<\/strong>, 21, of Moulton, Alabama<\/strong> was also arrested. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Ballentine and Woolbright were given a $75,000.00 bond by a Justice Court Judge, and Moses was given a $80,000.00 bond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Office would like to urge the public be aware of Social Media sites, luring children to solicit sexual acts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
