How often do we see Christmas<\/strong> ads before Halloween<\/strong>? In an effort to bring focus back to Thanksgiving<\/strong>, the Oxford Park Commission<\/strong> has created a new contest that will promote the spirit of this great American holiday, and promote some local businesses at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OPC has set up \u201cFind Tom\u201d stickers in 10 different stores and businesses located in and around the West Jackson Avenue<\/strong>. Each of these businesses have set aside prizes for those that find our feathery friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those participating include The Nail Shop, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Shades, Smoothie King, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Buffalo Wild Wings, Mugshots, Hawaii Poke & Grill<\/strong>, and Lost Pizza Company<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit Oxford<\/strong> has also donated a t-shirt and bottle to the prizes. The contest will run from Monday, November 2nd until Monday, November 23rd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you locate Tom Turkey in a participating business, take a picture of it with your cell phone, share it on social media, or  contact Emily Keiser<\/strong> at Oxford Park Commission by email ekeiser@OxfordParkCommission.com<\/a> or call her at 662-816-1888. Each prize will be awarded by Emily Keiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
