Due to the nature of the injuries suffered by the victim officers notified investigators about the incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation led to a warrant being issued for <strong>Brenton Morgan<\/strong> (33 of <strong>Oxford, Mississippi<\/strong>) for Domestic Violence-Aggravated Assault. Officers located Morgan at his residence and were able to take him into custody. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Lafayette County Justice Court Judge set Morgan\u2019s bond at $50,000 for the charge of Domestic Violence-Aggravated Assault.
