Ole Miss<\/strong> ran, passed, and dismantled the Troy Trojans<\/strong> today in Oxford<\/strong>, beating them 51-21. Despite the high scoring, the game was a near snoozefest for the most part and even the players looked lethargic at times during the game.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rebels racked up 753 total offensive yards against the Trojans, which is a new Ole Miss record and places fifth most for a single game in the South Eastern Conference. The Rebels ran 93 total plays and gained 31 first downs, only punting once the entire day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ole Miss’s offensive game was very balanced, with 369 rushing yards and 382 passing yards. The Rebels defense held the Trojans and Troy ended up with -13 rushing yards on the day. Most of the Trojans offense happened through their passing game. Troy scored three touchdowns on the Rebels.<\/span><\/p>\n

The University announced that\u00a052,931 people were in attendance but parts of the stadium looked pretty barren and nowhere near that number. \u00a0Ole Miss faces SEC opponent Missouri Tigers next Saturday in Oxford.<\/span><\/p>\n
