On Tuesday September 22, 2020, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Department<\/strong> received a tip of a wanted fugitive, 35 year old Jovon Hayes<\/strong> of Oxford, \u00a0in the Highway 6 West<\/strong> area of the county.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lafayette County Sheriff\u2019s Department along with Agents with Lafayette Metro Narcotics<\/strong> responded to the area.\u00a0 During the investigation, several individuals were arrested and charged.\u00a0 The crimes committed varied from drug charges, weapon charges, resisting arrest, and aiding a fugitive on the run.\u00a0 Investigators and agents confiscated illegal drugs, guns, and money. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

27 year old Darius Smith<\/strong> of Oxford received a bond of $25,000. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

28 year old Ashanti Johnson<\/strong> of Oxford received a bond of $60,000.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

34 year old Demari Wilson<\/strong> of Oxford received a bond of $60,000, but was revoked and held on a MDOC hold.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

34 year old Janeice Cohran<\/strong> of Oxford received a bond of $25,000, but was revoked due to her being out on a previous felony bond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

31 year old Kelby Campbell<\/strong> of Oxford received a bond of $20,000, but was revoked due to him being out on a previous felony bond.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

22 year old Sabrina Holden<\/strong> of Oxford received a bond of $5,000. 35 year old Jovon Hayes of Oxford received a bond of $25,000, but was revoked due to him being out on a previous felony bond.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
