On Wednesday, April 26, the Oxford Police Department arrested Cameron Triplett (23 Oxford, MS) for credit card fraud. A victim reported a lost credit card around the square and noticed unauthorized purchases made with the card. After an investigation, evidence led investigators to Triplett. Triplett used the card at multiple locations around town, totaling over $700 worth of charges. Triplett was given a bond of $2,500.\u00a0<\/span>

On Tuesday, April 25, the Oxford Police Department arrested Shannon Kroha (44 of Oxford, MS.) for embezzlement. On 04-22-2017, a local business, Ross clothing store, reported that Kroha was swapping price tags off merchandise and not charging full price for items in the store from the time of April 9 to April 22 and had taken money. The business estimated over $1,600 was lost. They signed charges on Kroha, she was arrested and given a bond of $1,500.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonathon Fox<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

On April 18, 2017 the Oxford Police Department took a walk in report from a female claiming that her ex-boyfriend took unclothed photos of her without her permission. The victim stated that she found the photos of her on Jonathon Fox\u2019s Apple MacBook Pro while using the computer at his house. Investigators were given the photos and they clearly show the female victim asleep in her bed when they were taken. An arrest warrant was issued for Mr. Fox and a search warrant was issued for his residence. We were able to locate the laptop and cell phone belonging to Mr. Fox along with him at his residence. Mr. Fox was given a bond of $5,000 and charged with Secretly Photographing For Lewd Purpose or Invading the Privacy for Photographing.<\/span><\/p>\n

On 4\/18\/17 Investigators with the Oxford Police served arrest warrants on William Conway (26 of Oxford) and Darmonte Golliday (19 of Oxford) for Uttering Forgery. They are accused of cashing \u00a0forged checks on 3\/24\/17. Bond was set at $1500.00 and they were booked at LCDC.<\/span><\/p>\n

On April 3, 2017 Loss Prevention associates of Wal-Mart reported that an unknown black male entered the business on March 31, 2017 and stole $1,104.00 worth of miscellaneous electronics. The following day Loss Prevention associates called the Oxford Police Department and reported that the same male had returned to the business. Officers responded to the location and arrested 47 year old Larry Gaston AKA Abu Talib Shabazz as he was exiting the store. Mr. Gaston was charged with Felony Shoplifting and given a bond of $2,500.<\/span><\/p>\n
