Michael Frieson – No Headlights, Suspended Driver\u2019s License, Possession of a weapon by a felon, Possession of Schedule 2 Narcotics & Possession with Intent<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Friday October 16th<\/sup>, 2015 at approximately 10:38 PM<\/span> officers with the Oxford Police Department stopped a 2002 White Ford F-150 traveling South on South 18th<\/sup> street for driving with no headlights on. When officers approached the driver, Michael Frieson 34 of Oxford, they notified him of why they stopped him and then checked his driver\u2019s license which came back suspended for failing to attend court on two separate occasions. Officers asked Frieson to step out of the vehicle and as he was doing so they asked Frieson if he had been smoking marijuana due to the odor of marijuana coming from his vehicle. Frieson responded that he did smoke earlier in the day. Once officers placed him in custody for suspended driver\u2019s license they began a search incident to arrest. During the search they found 180 grams of Marijuana, 22.3 grams of crack cocaine & $3,648 & an AA Arms Tec 9 firearm. Frieson has been charged, bond has not been set yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lakendrick Doss \u2013 Auto Burglary<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Sunday, October 11, just before 1 am<\/span> officers with the Oxford Police Department arrested Lakendrick Doss (20 Horn Lake, MS.) for Auto Burglary. Officers were on foot patrol in the south parking lot off the square behind they Lyric when they saw a male subject holding a purse. The male, later identified as Lakendrick Doss, began grabbing door handles trying to open them. Our officers began to walk toward him without him knowing. Before Doss could see them one of our officers was able to detain him. When they identified him he had a small amount of misdemeanor narcotics on him. They transported him to the Lafayette County Detention Center and placed the purse in evidence. Investigators were able to locate the owner of the purse, she parked her car just before midnight<\/span> near Abners off the square. The purse was identified as being hers and Doss was spotted on camera leaving the lot with the purse. Doss has been charged with burglary and was given a bond of $5,000.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, October 7, the Oxford Police Department arrested Tikeyra Sims (26 Oxford, MS) for two counts of felony Shoplifting and Michael Moore (31 of Oxford) for 1 count of felony Shoplifting. Both Sims & Moore were at the Oxford Wal-Mart yesterday when Moore was spotted by Wal-Mart employees pushing a TV out without paying. When Moore saw Wal-Mart employees begin to approach him he pushed the TV outside and then fled on foot. Patrol officers pursued on foot when they spotted him running down Jackson Avenue. They chased him from Jackson Avenue to Hathorn Road where Metro Narcotics agent were able to apprehend him. While officers were dealing with Moore, Sims was still inside attempting to steal another TV. Wal-Mart employees caught Sims as she was going outside with the TV. Once she was stopped an Investigator was called to the scene where they found in Sims car another TV was stolen that day. Sims was given a bond of $2,500 and Moore was given a $1,500 bond.<\/span><\/p>\n
