Two from Oxford Arrested for Trafficking Methamphetamine and More

On Saturday, December 26, 2020, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic disturbance in progress on County Road 469. Upon arrival and after the investigation Deputies arrested Bobby Griffin (30 years old) of Oxford, Mississippi for aggravated domestic and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

While investigating this incident deputies became suspicious of possible drug trafficking taking place at this residence and requested the assistance of the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, which lead the seizure of over 12 ounces of Methamphetamine and the arrest of Tema Tutor (30 years old) of Oxford for Trafficking. 

Tema Tutor has been charged with Trafficking of a schedule I drug known as (Meth) methamphetamine her bond has been set at $50,0000.00

Bobby Griffin has been charged with Aggravated Domestic Violence and Possession of a Firearm by a convicted felon. His bond was set at $75,000.00.

About the Author

The Office of Sheriff is a four year term filled through an at-large election process. Duties of the Sheriff involve two primary areas; law enforcement of the county and administrative.
