Pappi’s Garage in Tupelo Kicks Off the Blue Suede Cruise Thursday, May 2

Proceeds from monthly cruise-in to benefit the Regional Rehab Center

It’s that time of year, and once again, Pappi’s Garage, located at 209 Commerce Street in Tupelo, will be hosting its first monthly charity cruise-in on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm benefiting the Regional Rehab Center.

This year, Pappi’s is shaking things up and breaking away from tradition. Not only will their first cruise-in be on a Thursday this year, but registration will be $20 per classic car or hot rod.

“In the past, we’ve had free registration,” said Emily Davis, the marketing manager at Pappi’s Garage, “But this year, we’ve decided to change it up a bit. Instead of small trinkets as door prizes this year, we will have drawings and give away ten $100 envelopes to registrants.”

Along with the change in registration, they will have a live band at the first cruise-in of the year. The Rust Bucket Roadies, a true Mississippi gem, will be set up on a stage and playing all your favorites and the best rocking blues you will ever hear.

There will be free hot dogs, chips, and drinks for the first 300 cruisers, and, of course, there will be a 50/50 raffle, a raffle item, and a Charity’s Choice Award for the best and coolest looking vehicles chosen by the Regional Rehab Center.

“This is a great opportunity to fellowship with cruisers from all over since so many people will already be in town for the Blue Suede Cruise,” said Davis. “This year’s cruise-in season is going to be like nothing you’ve ever seen before, and we can’t wait to get the season started! We’ll see you all there!”
