Oxford, Mississippi Police Arrest Oxford Man for Sexual Battery and Water Valley Man for 4th DUI

On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, investigators with the Oxford, Mississippi Police Department took a report of a sexual assault. On May 1, 2018, William Morrow (31 of Oxford, Mississipi) was arrested for sexual battery. Morrow was transported to the Lafayette County Detention Center where his bond was set at $20,000.00.

On Saturday, April 28, 2018, an officer with the Oxford Police Department made a traffic stop on Woodrow King (50 of Water Valley, MS). A DUI investigation was conducted on King where he was subsequently arrested. A check of King’s driving history showed that he had at least 3 prior DUI convictions. King was charged with DUI 4th, 2 counts of endangering a child by driving under the influence, no seatbelt, no insurance, and no driver’s license.
