Oxford Man Arrested for Intimidating a Witness

On November 25, 2022, the Oxford Police Department took a walk-in report for malicious mischief causing over $1,000 worth of damage to a vehicle.

After investigation, Derrian Pegues, 23, of Oxford, Mississippi was arrested and charged with Felony Malicious Mischief.

Pegues was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge and given a $2,500 bond. 

On December 2nd, Pegues reached back out to the victim from the previous incident. Pegues was then arrested and charged with Intimidating a Witness.

Pegues was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge and issued a $10,000 bond.
