No. 1 Chargers one win away from Final Four in 5A Baseball Playoffs

The No. 1 ranked Oxford Chargers baseball squad will host a playoff game against Germantown (Madison, MS) on Thursday. The Chargers enter Thursday nights contest with a perfect 30-0 record and are one win away from reaching the 5A High School Baseball Final Four.

Maxpreps.com currently lists the Chragers as the thrid best team in the nation. Oxford will square off against Germantown at 6:00 pm on Thursday.

The team’s stats tell the story. With a combined ERA of .097 and a team batting average of .344, it’s easy to see how the 2105 version of Chargers baseball has achieved so much success.
