Mississippi State Department of Health Reports 70 New Cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and No New Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 70 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and no new deaths.

Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since February 2020 now stands at 306,158, with 7,055 deaths. 292,872 Mississippians are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.

There are 15 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).
