Mississippi Department of Health Reports Another 1,263 cases of COVID-19

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 1,263 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and no new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 166,194, with 3,961 deaths. 

Currently there are 1,101 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 287 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.

There are 202 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 35 new long-term care cases and three new long-term care deaths.
