Mississippi Department of Health Reports 699 New COVID-19 Cases But No New Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 699 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and no new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 143,879, with 3,676 deaths.

Currently there are 910 Mississippians hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19 infection. There are currently 213 people hospitalized in intensive care for confirmed COVID-19.

There are 172 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff). There are 13 new long-term care cases and two new long-term care deaths.
