Mississippi COVID-19 Cases Rise to 51,097 and 1,480 Deaths

Today the Mississippi Department of Health (MSDH) is reporting 1,207 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 15 new deaths. Mississippi’s total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 51,097, with 1,480 deaths. 

There are now 184 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).
