The Mid-Town Farmers’ Market will be open each Saturday May through October (7-11am).  In addition, the Wednesday market will be open each week (~8am to 1pm), beginning on a Wednesday to be announced.  The first Saturday of each month will be a children’s day conducted by Sue Castens, with face painting and other fun activities usually beginning around 8 am.

Below are some highlights from the Saturday market, near the end of the 2012 season:

  • Shore-to-Door: fresh-caught wild Gulf shrimp
  • Sidney Shaw: sunflowers
  • Pontotoc Ridge Blueberry Farm: figs, pears, peas (shelled & unshelled), okra, jams, and jellies
