Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department Arrest Convicted Felon with a Firearm

On Monday, August 17, 2020, investigators with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop Highway 310. Investigators found a firearm in the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, Daryl Collier, is a previously convicted felon.

Collier was arrested and transported to Lafayette County Detention. Collier’s bond was set at $5000.00 by a Justice Court Judge.

About the Author

The law enforcement duties are to keep the peace in Lafayette County while administrative duties consist primarily of serving as the county jailor.
