Kroger Charges Oxford Woman for Writing Fraudulent Check

On 6/26/17 Investigators with the Oxford Police Department were contacted by representatives from Kroger about a suspect, identified as Laquandra Dye (22 of Oxford), who cashed a fraudulent check in the amount of $1550.00. Investigators were advised that Kroger had video of Dye cashing the check and she used her ID at the time of the incident. On 6/22/17 a representative from Kroger came to the Oxford Police Department and signed charges on her. On 6/6/17 Dye turned herself into the Oxford Police Department and she was booked at LCDC and her bond was set at $1000.00.
