GHOST WOLVES Bringing Raunchy Garage Punk Blues to Blue Canoe

The Ghost Wolves has been touring non-stop and are bringing their raucous show to Blue Canoe Wednesday, June 7. Consisting of Carley Wolf on Guitar & vocals and Johnny Wolf on Synthesizer, Drums, & Vocals, the Austin, Texas duo brings a “furious bellow of maximum swamp boogie with blood in its teeth and lust in its heart,” according to Classic Rock Magazine.

“They formulated their mutant Delta fuzz-stomp from Jonny’s articulate tub-smashing, Carley’s witchy woman wail and bottleneck frenzy (sometimes from a one-string guitar), and vintage rockabilly.” – The Austin Chronicle

April 21 saw the release of TEXA$ PLATINUM, the group’s fourth studio effort. The album was produced by Mike McCarthy, who has produced albums for SPOON, and mastered by Howie Weinburg, who famously mastered Nirvana‘s Nevermind as well as albums for The Clash and White Stripes.

The Ghost Wolves take the stage at 7:30 pm at Blue Canoe in Tupelo, Mississippi. The Local Voice Ligature
