Four Jackson, Mississippi Men Arrested for Armed Robbery and Burglary in Oxford

On October 13, 2020, at approximately 2:35 am, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Olive Branch Way for a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers were forced to make entry to the residence after hearing the residents calling out for help. Once inside officers encountered multiple armed individuals, who  immediately fled the home.  

A perimeter was established and three out of the four armed suspects identified as Dequavious Luckett (20 of  Jackson, Mississippi), Laquavious Swinney (18 of Jackson), and Kentris Bolton (17 of Jackson), who is charged as an  adult, were apprehended by officers without incident after a search of the area was done. The fourth suspect identified as Dallas Smith (19 of Jackson) turned himself in to law enforcement later that night.  

All four have been officially charged with four counts of Armed Robbery, 1 count of Burglary-Home Invasion, and 1 count of Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.

All four received a bond set by a Lafayette County  Justice Court Judge. Luckett, Swinney, and Smith received a bond of $150,000 and Bolton received a bond  of $125,000.
