Ditch Tapes Announces First Release

Ditch Tapes, a tape cassette label founded by Sean O’Hara of Nadir Bliss, will release its innagural tape in June, “tenatively the 10,” said O’Hara.

“Organizing it has taken some time because it’s something I’ve had to be a few steps ahead of to give it a chance to actually work out and be cool,” said O’Hara. “It’s a thing where I end up being all over the place while trying not to be stretched too thin. I thrive working like that.”

The release will be from Miss, the solo project of former Oxford resident Taylor Mitchell who now lives in New York.

“It’s a handful of songs I wrote and recorded during my last year in Oxford,” said Mitchell. “It’s about what happend to me that year and a sort of two-hearted feeling I got from the town. I hope someone likes it.” The Local Voice Ligature
