Country Star Brett Young Releases Song for Ole Miss

Brett Young pitched for Ole Miss Baseball as a freshman in 2000, earning his first career win in March of that year. After a year with Ole Miss, Young played at Irvine Valley College then Fresno State until an elbow injury in 2003 cut his career short.

Young self-released a handful of EPs and Albums before signing to Big Machine Label Group in 2015 and releasing the self-titled album Brett Young.

The pitcher turned country singer recently released “Hell Yeah Damn Right,” a tribute to Ole Miss and the passion its fan base has for the Rebels. The song can be previewed here as well as being available on apple music, spotify, itunes, and Google Play. The Local Voice Ligature
