Volta brings to Oxford everything nice about Greece (i.e. gyros, hummus, and bright blue paint) and leaves the, let’s say, less desirable things (i.e. economic woes, profuse back hair). It seems to be working.
In ‘07 Volta was named “Best Ethnic Food” by Mississippi Magazine. Two years later it won a similar award with Delta Magazine. You’re sure to agree by your first piece of warm pita bread. Need a bit more convincing? I suggest the lamb & beef gyro.
